The Miami Boys Choir (www.miamiboyschoir.com) is a contemporary Jewish music boys choir that has been active since the 1970's. On April 11th, the group had their first ever live stream. The broadcast was powered by DaCast and allowed the group to offer access to viewers straight from their own website. The live stream was a huge success, generating thousands in revenue in a single day.
DaCast works with a variety of encoders, including those offered by Mushroom Networks (www.mushroomnetworks.com). This month, the company unveiled Streamer PRO, which works by bonding 3G / 4G broadband connections together to handle the demands of live video streaming. It features a built-in adaptive video encoder, so DaCast users only need their camera to successfully stream sports or newscasts in the field. If you are interested in scheduling a 15 minute remote, online demo of the Streamer PRO streaming live to Dacast, please contact: info@mushroomnetworks.com
