For most people, it will take around 15-30 minutes for someone to sign up and begin streaming. This time does not account for setting up broadcasting equipment to a computer and assumes that someone is streaming from an already attached device such as a webcam. This time estimate does include the process of downloading an encoder as well (Adobe Media Live Encoder is included free of charge). However, if another encoder is used then this will require configuration and increase the setup time.
There are no sign up or added fees. We offer a variety of monthly Streaming Plans with greatly reduced costs on bandwidth. Alternatively, Pay As You Go pricing is also offered. Please refer to our video bandwidth calculator to see how pricing is determined for this approach.
Nothing. We provide a totally free trial with no strings attached. If you aren’t happy after using the free trial, then that’s it, no surprise fee or charge will pop up. The free trial provides you with 10 GBs which is enough to stream high quality video to about 10 people for two hours.
Yes. A free trial account can only create one channel at a time. Streams broadcasted over a free trial account can also only be watched by 15 people a day from unique IP addresses. Any people trying to watch a stream beyond those 15 will receive an error message. Furthermore, trial users are limited to 1GB of storage. Free trial accounts are also only active for 30 days.
To remove the limitations of a trial account, which include the channel restriction and viewer cap, simply buy additional bandwidth for your account or signup for a monthly plan.
