Understanding embedded players:
Embedded players are media players enclosed in an HTML document or other web space, such as a forum, by using the ActiveX and or Netscape plug-in for that player. This plug-in often refers to Flash video, the most common format choice for content streamed over the internet, or HTML5.
Dacast supports a dual-embed approach. Using either an iframe or JS (Javascript code), you can embed a player into the HTML of a website. This code will then dynamically change based on the device that views it. For example, desktops receive a Flash version, while mobile devices receive an HTML version of the player.
Using your embedded player:
Embedded players are simple to use! Furthermore, you don’t need to create a special embed tailored to individual viewers viewing methods.
To access these embed codes, click on a channel or video and go to . In general, the iframe embed code works UNLESS you use website referral restrictions. In that case, you need to use the JS code instead.
