Interested in knowing more about cameras for live streaming?

First of all, see below for a list of compatible cameras for live streaming to use over Dacast. Please note, however, that some of these cameras may require additional capture equipment. In fact, just about any camera will work (depending on how you feed it into your encoder/capture equipment), but the list below includes examples that we are confident are compatible with live streaming.

Also, please reference the original post below for more details on the setup required for the camera you are considering. If you are using a camera that’s not listed below, however, please reply with a comment for it to be added and we will make an effort to update the list as quickly as possible!

Do you have a list of cameras that we can connect directly to the internet to get to DaCast (via a switch so we can have multiple cameras)? Is there a specific option in a camera that makes this possible (such as RTMP)?

We don’t have a list of cameras as such, but we did get good feedback and experience with PTZoptics cameras; and if you have multiple cameras, you can take a Sony Anycast to mix them together.
