      Hosting of Audio Files

Yes, Dacast accounts can be used to host audio files and other non-video files, as long as they are in an MP3 or MP4 format. Since Dacast has audio hosting features, you can create an audio-only streaming platform with podcasts or live radio shows.

      Non-Video Content

For non-video content, only files directly related to your video content can be hosted. Some examples are the thumbnails and splash screens for a video. Unfortunately, your Dacast account cannot host additional media such as PDFs, PowerPoints, Flash Animations, etc.
